TDK CD Burner Fails Under XP Pro

Hi
Hope someone can help. I have a TDK Cyclone 321040 CD Burner and i cannot get a CD to copy under XP Pro SP1 . I am useing the latest Nero version with verify option ticked. The cd copyies fine but allways fails on verify with files being different. I have tried this under Win98 all copyies 1st time without a hitch. I have checked the media and thats all ok. In regards to other CD Burner packages i have tried them but again none copy succesfully. I have also upgraded the ASPI Driver .
I believe the problem is with XP OS , just not sure what else it can be. I have looked on the TDK Site but nothing usefull on there.
Any Ideas ?

Try disabling the built in "CD-burning capability for windowsXP".

Go to "administrative tools" in the control panel, and in the "services" list, disable the IMAPI CD-Burning COM service.
(Note: manual setting is not enough it must be disabled).
