A monitoring software (Intel Active Monitor) tells me that the "system zone 2" is too hot (above 50c) I checked @ Intel.com where is the system zone 2 is placed, and thats the area where the RAM is sitting. Can temp of 48-55 c ruin my RAM? |

Its a little warm. Is that DDR or RDRAM?
If its DDR check out these: http://www.cyberguys.com/cgi-bin/sgi...REQC=3&UREQD=4 If its RDRAM they already have a heatsink built into them. They do also sell fan kits that puts a small 20mm or so fan over the ram sticks to cool them JJB |

ramsinks, the best option. make sure there is not a build up of dust on the ram either.
