Every so often the keyboard stops working and sometimes the mouse as well which results in a reboot. If it is just the keyboard I open device manager and one of the human resources devices has an yellow exclamation mark so I click disable then enable and the keyoard works again. XP2200 processor, 80gb maxtor HD, 2 X 512 ddr 266 ram, XP home  |

Check in your BIOS and make sure USB Keyboard and Mouse are enabled...

Built system on K7S8XE+ and XP 2200 last weekend for a friend. certainly no problem with standard mouse, cant remember...... but should be USB enable/disable in Bios as mentioned.
Only small problem noticed was quirky case wiring to main board. |

Have been having this problem for some time now and changing over to PS2 does not solve the problem. |
