Default safely remove hardware

i´ve got an icon at the taskbar that says "safely remove hardware".... i would like to know how i can disable this at startup.... thankx

I don't believe so. You only get that icon if you have hardware in your computer that is hot swappable. If you are not on a notebook or a server with RAID, try checking your USB devices.

It is pointing to my usb cable modem... i´ve already xp signed drivers.... it is working fine. What can I do ?

I have the same issue with one of my USB devices - but it dosen't bother me.. Why do you wish to remove it?
