As the Speed Step driver is built into the XP OS, is there a utility out there that will sit in the system tray and tell me what the actual processor speed is at any one time? TIA Cuch |

I'm assuming you have a laptop since that is the only time speed-step is ever activated. if you do have a intel processor with speedstep just search around intel.com and their is a app you can download and use to set and monitor the speed of the proc.
