Question lan on motherboard

if i have lan on motherboard do i acctually need a nic card to connect adn im not sure as to how to get it to work im running an intel ca810 and i dont really know how to et this featuer to work for me and will it even work with xp or what

Cool

No the built in is enough (if you need only one). Make sure it's enabled in BIOS. The drivers are on the cd that came with your motherboard. It is possible you won't need them if Windows finds its own drivers.
