Quite an old idea. There are professionally built ones with the screen concealed etc. Nice to see a "case"-mod version though.. wonder how much noise it makes

Yeah I'm not sure how noisy that "thing" is SPeedY_B

But it's pretty cool IMHO. I *may* just see if I can do something like that with my desk.

Doesn't have to make any noise.

They could put big, low speed, high volume, air movers in the back and use baffles to circulate the air inside, put exhaust vents in the back too. Cork line the drawer and the silent gaming PC exists.

It would be a bitch going to lan parties though.

I'm pissed a buddy and I were talking about this just last week. They stole our idea!

PS Here is my version of the case less PC, the one on the left.

mubbers, I think you hit that one right on as well

be nice to show off to all the ladies, but then when its time to go muscle around in some hardcore lan-ness, you would feel like the fat kid that always gets hit with the dodgeball

Wahh. Now I know what they mean by PC cases named "LAN Party..."

Didn't know people actually carried their machine with them to compete.

Damn LeeJend, That surge supressor under yer Monitor (the one with all the buttons), I use to use one of them. It was pretty good, but got to be a problem once I upgraded my Monitor (My desk had a built in shelf over the Monitor area). I went from a 15 to a 17 inch and the Monitor wouldn't fit sitting on top of the surge base.

Hmmmmm, I wonder if I still have it somewhere.

Actually I think they would be the ones always hosting the LAN parties.
