My submission.

Running a completely fresh install of Vista Ultimate (32-bit).

Minimal as always

My desktop link on the taskbar has all the short-cuts I need that are not already mapped to my G-15 keyboards macro keys.

Ok its not a windows desktop but there isn't a Linux desktop section

Wallpaper - custom made
Theme - Crystal-1.0.4
Icons - SnowIsh-kde-1.3

Yes i know its the same theme and icons but they are good and clean so i stay with them

here is my windows box desktop, plain windows classic and icons

with me its all about crisp clean and minimal, i might get round to using themes or styles one day

that is if i can find an up to date .dll all the links i seem to find are dead, plus i would need a version for windows server 2003 r2 sp2, so if anyone had a working link i would be greatful

edit: are the lastest versions i would require ?

I'd post mine to show that has a long way to go before its minimalist, but alas the wallpapers limit it to staff only

You need to shrink the image too. No greater then 500px wide please. Link to an external full-size shot if you would please.

As an ubuntu user, I find it very amusing when you claim it looks nicer than vista (my primary os).

24-bit color > 32-bit color? Not to mention the myriad of other features that make vista look just beaut
