Default My desktop Icon

for some reason, my Microsoft Outlook icon changed on its own after a reboot of my system. I cannot change the icon back by right clicking on it and going to properties or anything like that because if i go to properties, it actually goes into my mail properties and not the icon properties. Whats another way to go in and change your desktop icons? I guess i could delete it and shortcut another icon for outlook. Would that work?

yeah that should work.

Just drag the outlook shortcut from the quick launch bar (if you've got it enabled) to your desktop, then drag it back into the quick launch bar area. Now you can right click on the desktop shortcut and change it...

A few of my icons (Media Player, Game Spy...) appear to have changed to 256 colours or summit. The others are fine, is it just me?
