I've tried both Vista and Windows 7 yet keep coming back to XP. Sometimes simpler is better

As for the wallpaper - not too sure where I got it from. But you can get similar ones at my wallpaper site Nature Wallpapers

I wish they would come up with a way to change the taskbar in windows 7. It is so boring.

Change it how, mine is almost pure transparent which then changes per wallpaper. Then I change the start button all the time. What are you looking to change? Like the shape or it?

yeah, the shape and the like. Like you could with vista.

define "shape" you can do the same with it as you could with vista.

it is hard to explain. You know how you were able to change the color and size of the task bar? Look at some of the vista themes and you will see what I mean.

You can change its colour using the tints under aero or if using classic, the colour control panel.

Unlock it and it can be as big or small as you want, on any edge of the screen.

Anything else can be done with WindowBlinds. However most WindowBlinds themes are uh comparable to that which you flush down the toilet.

I know that lol. I want to be able to add styles like vista to it without windowblinds. Like style xp was.

So patch uxtheme.dll, and do so. Thats all stylexp ever did.

There are for sure less styles and options out there for Vista & 7 compared to the good old XP days, but the ones we have are much better looking now
