Default New PS3 still too expensive in New Zealand!
I have read that the new PS3 slim will retail in NZ for $629 ($US430 equivalent). I was hoping they would have dropped the price to $NZ500 then I would have bought one.

thats unfair for people like yourself. why wouldn't Sony drop the price?

Since they still charge more for them in Japan than they do in the US when they are made in Japan/China then I can only assume price is based on what people will pay and what they can get ..... not on fair.
