Today is my first day back since going to the hospital on Wednesday the 15th. Now I didn't explain this to any of you, but since going to the hospital was unplanned my work did not know about it.

I have been working at Fedex for the last 4 months or so, been enjoying it quite a bit actually. Anyways, my regular manager/boss was gone for that week. I didn't have any number to call except his, so I didn't call in, any time that week. They also didnt call me to check out what is happening. So the whole time I was recovering I was really worried.

So this morning at 4:30AM on my way to work I get a call from my normal manager, because he didn't know what happened until he got in this morning. He asked for my explaination of what went on and explained he has to wait on the other managers to see what they did (might have removed me from the system). At worst I lose my job over my health problem and stupidty of not having a number, at best I have to bring them a doctors...

Yes Man! Review

Posted April 19th, 2009 at 1:57am by Bman (Bman's Blog)

Now for years, since I was a young boy (well I guess I still am) I have been a fan of Jim Carey. I don't think there is one movie of his that I do not like, even the non-comedies. Now is that because I am such a fan I have to like them or are they that good, I'd like to think they are that good.

Yes Man! is no exception to that list. If you haven't seen the commercial for this movie, its about a guy that always said no and never did anything with his life. He of course started a program that got him to always say yes. Before I get into it, even that premise sound awesome.

At first I thought this movie was just going to be a comedy. And it was one hell of a comedy at that, but it was more then that. I have been watching many shows and movies these days and I haven't laughed out load in a long time, this movie made me do it multiple times. Jim Carey is at his best. I don't need to go over certain parts to explain how well it was shot and done, it would destroy the...

Demigod Review

Posted April 17th, 2009 at 8:42pm by Bman (Bman's Blog)

Now I was playing the beta for this game and wrote a quick review. I was going to write a full review to this released game and read a wicked awesome review from 1UP, which I love, i agree on basically everything. Check this out.

I've never been huge on real-time strategy games. I think at least part of that has been the fact that, in addition to gold, lumber, vespene, and whatever other resources I need to keep track of, the primary commodity seems to be my own attention. With a million little guys running all over the map and the task of navigating the tech tree from the Stone Age to starships, I need about six more eyeballs and the ability to move my fingers like a tap dancing centipede. Sometimes I wish I could just have one giant goddamn walking castle to worry about. Ideally, it would also have a hammer for hitting guys. And maybe a tower with a laser on it. Hey, somebody made a game like that. Fantastic.
Of course, it's not exactly the first one. It's going...

Master Of Change, Or Not PT2

Posted April 17th, 2009 at 1:46am by Bman (Bman's Blog)

So if you read my other posting, and everything else I write about these days you know what is going on.

Basically even if you look back on my history, I have been trying to use a catheter as a normal routine for years. I am incapable of doing it, I might get the balls up enough to do it once in awhile. So I have come up with a solution.

Well first I am in bad condition, needing of relief very soon before its like previous times and being rushed. That is why tonight around 9PM I am heading to the emergency room (only option) and getting a catheter put in. This of course means I will have a catheter with a bag in for the weekend (hospitals rule), which is fine with me but I lose hours at work. That is not going to be fun, but I can handle someone else doing it.

The next step after it's removed is continuing to use a catheter. Well I am going to be setting up a routine with my family doctor, for some one there each week to do my catheter. Problem solved...
