My History 104 class covers from the 1500's to present. We have learned a crap load of interesting info about countries, wars, and why things are the way they are! Anyways, my teacher is pretty cool, he let us choose are own topic, as long as we could relate it back to something we learned in class. I have always been interested in the Chernobyl catastrophe, so i deiced to write my paper on that. Took me about a month, 3 full re-written drafts later, i got it back today.....

That part of the world has a very rich and fascinating history. Not far from Chernobyl a great war was fought between Sweden and Russia in Pavlava between Peter the Great and Charles of Sweden in 1709. This established the Russian Empire as a great power.Posted May 8th, 2008 at 4:51pm by Oldenbear

Oldenbear has touched on a piece of history which consumed Hitler. He wanted to be the next"Peter the Great" with operation Barbarossa. The lunatic really believed America was too far away to stop him.Posted May 9th, 2008 at 10:34am by kennethfcca
