So I miniturized my server.

I got a MSI Fuzzy 690T miniITX motherboard from a friend with 1GB of memory. I used the CPU from my desktop (AMD Athlon X2 4600+) and bought a new one for my desktop (AMD Athlon X2 5400+).

It has 4 hard drives:

60GB Windows Drive
160GB Downloads Drive
500GB Media Drive
500GB Backup Drive

and runs Windows 2003 Standard Server.

I just need a case. The lack of a case was the only thing stopping me from migrating from my old one so I decided to just run it like this for now.

My old server is now my parent's desktop. It has a AMD Athlon 3200+ CPU with an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard and 1GB of RAM.

Ok, so after hearing my friend's PS3 on surround system my gaming setup seemed somewhat.. lacking. That and you can only watch movies thru the TV's speakers for so long.

So last Saturday I went down to a local electronics store (EHR) and bought a system. I chose one of those no payment/no interest for a year deals since I don't have all the funds right now.

So here is what I got:

• Denon AVR-1909
• Paradigm Cinema 70CTv.3 speaker package which includes:
  • Cinema 70 Fronts and Surrounds
  • Cinema CC Center
  • PDR-8 Subwoofer

The speakers in the links are silver but I have black ones.

I love the receiver, it takes all the analog inputs (component, s-video and composite) and converts it to HDMI so I only have to connect one cable to my TV.

The receiver has a pass-through feature on the HDMI where it will pass-through the last selected HDMI input when the receiver is off, that way I can watch TV without the reveiver on. It...

So I finally caved and bought a X-Box 360 along with Call of Duty 4.

I bought the 20GB pro, I was going to go with the new 60GB but I wanted to buy a game too and didn't have enough money for the 60GB and a game.

Now to save up for more controllers, play and charge kits and more games like:

• Halo 3
• Burnout Paradise
• Star Trek: Legacy
• Guitar Hero 2

Now I need a stereo tho, can only play games and watch movies on the TV's speakers for so long.

Well I found a Guitar Hero III for my Wii. It was a similiar chance of luck as with my finding of a Wii system itself. Altho I had to wait for a hour for the shipment to come it was worth the wait.

The game rocks, my friend has Rock Band for PS3 and while the game itself is awesome the quality of the instruments is lacking. So far the only issue we've had with it was the Guitar and strumming.

I went online and looked around and found a fix so I took the guitar apart to fix it but to my surprise they changed it to magnetic switched which was a stupid idea, it may have sounded good but the issue is still there. It either double strums or doesn't register at all especially when you need to strum very fast.

Anyways GH3 for the Wii simply rocks, I have 4 Wiimotes but I want to buy a 5th and dedicate it to the guitar as you have to plug and mount one in the guitar.

So Monday after work a coworker and I went to the local Future Shop to look at some Wii accessories and they confirmed what Andriod412 commented on under my last entry. Which is that they will have Wii's on the 18th, I didn't want to wait but didn't have much of a choice.

So fast forward to Monday night, a friend and I were hanging out like we do everyweek and decided to visit EBGames (we have 3 here) and when I asked about a Wii they said they had some and sold out that morning, if only I went there after Future Shopm DAMN! Aw well, I asked about shipments and they said they get shipments everyday (not Wii's just shipments).

Now I decided to call today after work and one of the 3 had a shipment of 3 coming in but between 11am and 1pm. I figured I'd go hang out in the mall so I can have a better chance. Well I went to EBGames first to check out some games and lo and behold they came in early.

So I finally got my Wii and so did the coworker I was with...
