AMD 64 Winchester 3000+
2x512 Corsair CMX512-3200C2
Chaintech 6800GT
Maxtor DiamondMax 10 7200-16 200GB

Everything is clocked at factory defaults...

edit: anybody know why my 256MB 6800GT is getting 256MB of shared memory? That 1GB of memory I have is precious - and I dont want my GPU using it!

1GB Kingston RAM

Just overclocked to 1.89Ghz, then 1.98Ghz and got a 4.0 both times...

Hmm - I wonder how well this is improving real world performance.

Updated drivers for my video card and the CPU score jumped up to 5.5 (from 5.4). It must be having a good day.

I finally got vista running on my new machine i build back in Sept. and scored:

CPU 5.0
RAM 5.9
Graphics 5.9
Gaming Graphics 5.8
Harddrive 5.9

Wow, my AMD 64 X2 4600+ is holding back my system.
And I feel the need to mention I put 5 320 gig drives in a RAID 5 for 1.06 TB on this system.

yeah, i think it goes by the actual CPU type itself, not by the speed you OC it to.

My scores were good except for mem
5.9 on everything but processor and mem
5.2 on processor.
4.2 on mem all 4 slots are filled...
Thus it thinks they are single channel

Also, none of the games seem to work well.
I guess CSS is ok, i get about 150fps average and COD2 really stinks, the menu is completely messed up and the fps seem low.

I have a 7900gt ko superclocked.

ram isn't dual or single channel. ram is ram. single/dual channel is how many ram modules the cpu can talk to at once. single channel means it can only address one ram bank at once with a 64bit data path. dual channel means it can access 2 banks at once with a 128bit data path.

The optimal setup is 2 x 1GB modules for 32 bit and 2x2GB modules for 64bit unless you need more ram for 64bit.

I know that silly.
I have all for slots used up...
Thus it says single channel, rather than dual channel...

I recently went from mismatched 2x512 DDR2700 to (sold as a kit for DC) 2x1Go Crucial DDR3200: my mobo activated Dual Channel at once.

Going two by two (A0-B0 and A1-B1), I guess at least one of your memory stick mismatches with the other one it should be working with for Dual Channel.

In my case, my CPU (AMD 2600+ running as a 2800+) is holding my system back to 3.5 (see attached pic)

If I want to have my score go higher, I would need to change the CPU, going along with changing Mobo and Video (Radeon x850 *AGP*): with more money spared, in a few months I guess
